How does the Derma Roller work?

The Derma Roller uses miniature needles to puncture the skin, creating microscopic tubules. These microdamages initiate and accelerate the production of collagen and elastin, delaying skin aging and increase the penetration of nutrients into the dermis. The main task of the device is to remove dead epidermis and loosen the connections between its cells while stimulating the living layers of the skin. This leads to an increase in blood flow in the skin and stimulation of fibroblasts to synthesize collagen and elastin. Each subsequent treatment gradually shallows the scars. All, even the smallest damage to the epidermis activates the self-renewal process. With age, the skin's ability to self-renew decreases, which can be seen, for example, in slower-healing wounds.

Before each treatment, the skin should be cleaned and dried. Then you can start rolling the epidermis about 10 times in each direction (right, left, up, down, diagonally). The whole procedure should last from 3 to 10 minutes, depending on the intensity of rolling. To enhance the effects of the treatment, you can additionally use an anti-wrinkle serum or other nutritional preparation. After the procedure, the derma roller should be disinfected with liquid or washed under running water.
